VDI Train the Trainer Program in Kenya

VDI in Kenya with Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving InstructorsExercise/Scenario Design – A picture of Joe Autera  walking with the Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving Instructors in Kenya as he reviews the design of their exercise. Joe has given them a scenario; from the scenario they designed an exercise that established objective performance standards.

These include:

  • Applying vehicle dynamics in the exercise design process to ensure that vehicle and driver limitations are met and measured.
  • Measuring the path the vehicle will take as it drives through the exercises they designed, and the scenario they created.
  • Calculating the speed at which the student will approach the maximum capability of the vehicle.
  • Using a scientific methodology for closely replicating real world events
  • Use data from real world incidents to analyze and integrated into the design of specific exercises
  • Closely replicate the time, distance and stress of the actual incident

I am a 22 years old Kenyan man and I admire your training. I don’t have any institution I work with but I would like to sharpen my skills. I have a two years experience in the Kenyan roads, driving different not much renowned persons. The passion for driving is within my veins but I don’t have the means to maneuver to the top of the ladder… I long to be a professional executive driver and my biggest dream is to be one of the speed testing drivers in Kenya and in East Africa. I know my dreams have landed in the right place….

Surveillance Detection a Practical Perspective

Surveillance Detection: a Practical Perspective

Recognizing that while the Solo Practitioner approach – where one protection practitioner is responsible for managing the wide range of risks their Principal may face – is not the optimum approach to doing so, it is in fact being effectively implemented far more often and successfully than many in the profession would care to admit, it’s worthwhile to take a closer look at the strategies and tactics which contribute to the effectiveness of the Solo Practitioner paradigm.
