Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving has joined the VDI family of Global Training Affiliates

Tony Scotti's Vehicle Dynamics Institute Africa

Tony Scotti’s Vehicle Dynamics Institute (VDI), the global leader in security driver training is both pleased and proud to announce that Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving has joined the VDI family of Global Training Affiliates. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving is now the exclusive provider of VDI training programs on the African Continent.

The partnership between VDI and Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving has been evolving over the past several years. During that time, Joe Autera, President & CEO of Tony Scotti’s Vehicle Dynamics Institute and Glen Edmunds, Managing Director of Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving, have collaborated extensively on instructional system design & development, instructor development and exercise design projects and have routinely shared data related to vehicle performance, training strategies, and training outcomes. So having Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving representing VDI throughout Africa was both a natural fit and a logical step forward for both organizations.

In order to ensure that the highly advanced training programs they deliver under the VDI banner meet the exacting standards that differentiate VDI’s training programs from all others, and to further enhance their already impressive training capabilities, Glen, along with select members of his team, have successfully completed VDI’s intensive instructor development regimen and implemented a robust quality assurance process.

Surveillance Detection a Practical Perspective

Surveillance Detection: a Practical Perspective

Recognizing that while the Solo Practitioner approach – where one protection practitioner is responsible for managing the wide range of risks their Principal may face – is not the optimum approach to doing so, it is in fact being effectively implemented far more often and successfully than many in the profession would care to admit, it’s worthwhile to take a closer look at the strategies and tactics which contribute to the effectiveness of the Solo Practitioner paradigm.
