Another Jaunt Through Karjackistan

1017507_1079039768779483_1257865076872218355_nIt’s a Pleasure and an Honor –  to have worked this week with the latest group of security professionals to successfully complete VDI’s Protective/Evasive Driving Course. This time around, 20 students from 3 countries and 7 states joined us for the three day jaunt through Karjackistan.

Collectively, they represent several multi-national corporations, a Non-Governmental Organization, a branch of the US Military, a Foreign Embassy, a security services provider and a UHNW family.

For our students, it’s back to keeping the folks they are responsible for safe and secure. For the VDI team, it’s back on the road, where next week we’ll be discussing the Role and Responsibilities of the security driver and the Fundamentals of Surveillance Detection at Executive Security International’s (ESI) Executive Protection Residency Program, the following week we’ll be delivering VDI’s custom Security Driving Familiarization Program at Executive Protection International’s (EPI) Providing Personal Protection course. Then it’s back overseas to provide a custom program for one of our corporate clients. In other words, it’s business as usual for our students and for our team!

Our next open enrollment Protective/Evasive Driving course will be held at our Primary Training Facility in Central NJ on June 17 – 19.

We look forward to working with you out on the track in the near future. Until then, stay safe.

Surveillance Detection a Practical Perspective

Surveillance Detection: a Practical Perspective

Recognizing that while the Solo Practitioner approach – where one protection practitioner is responsible for managing the wide range of risks their Principal may face – is not the optimum approach to doing so, it is in fact being effectively implemented far more often and successfully than many in the profession would care to admit, it’s worthwhile to take a closer look at the strategies and tactics which contribute to the effectiveness of the Solo Practitioner paradigm.
