Rainex or other cleaning and rain repellent spray. I find it most effective when applied in shade ( no expo to sun light) . First spray and wipe all windows and lights (front and back) , they will appear “foggy”. Let it seat for few minutes, than “massage” it with clean cloth till it’s clear. DO NOT CLEAN IT WITH WINDEX you simply would remove the active chemical from rain repellent.

Good information from the early days of motoring when taking care of the vehicle was up to the operator. Observed my Father in the fifties do such preventive maintenance.

Here is a tip I have used often in the winter on highways that don’t have a visible line to fallow ( trees,light posts,) in a snow storm you can often be stuck in a white out situation (when the road ,the side and the field all look the same) Polarized sun Glasses help to cut glare so you can define the road .the sides will be brighter than the road.
